Why a systematic approach to teaching fundamentals?

It works! It works! Our OLA coaching staff has invested collectively thousands of hours coaching and in developing our core curriculum. We know it’s so sound that it “holds water” at even the highest levels of the game.  OLA’s master certified coaches have broken down the core ‘’blocking DNA’’ of every offensive block that is utilized in basically every offensive scheme.  With an emphasis on building block teaching, common language and use of alliterations our certified teaching instructors deliver key learning points that are easy to relate to, understand, and remember.   Why is that so important?  If athletes don’t understand and believe in what you’re coaching it’s difficult to sustain the needed effort to improve.   Our systematic approach makes it easy for linemen to change because they understand the brilliance of our simple methodology.  When Coaches and their offensive linemen have the ability to communicate using a common language they gain a competitive advantage during the offseason, at practice, and during the heat of battle.
